How to Apply for a Grant
Phase II: $1 Million Grant Funding for Maternal and Child Health in Washington, DC and Maryland*
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is pleased to announce the availability of $1 million in grant funding for programs aimed at improving maternal and child health in Washington, DC and Maryland*. All grant requests must be in accordance with the Maternal and Child Health Grant Guidelines.
Programs earning consideration must provide access to care for targeted populations and contain specific means for measuring how the service will improve birth outcomes and the overall health of infants.
To apply for funding, please adhere to the following steps:

*Excluding Baltimore City. In 2009, CareFirst entered into a three-year $3,000,000 partnership with Baltimore City’s B’More for Healthy Babies program.
